Thomson Trees have recently been contracted to undertake tree work in roslin at the lovely location of Rosslyn castle.

The works included a tree survey of a veteran Yew tree beside the castle. Included in this was a bat survey in-line with our wildlife and ecology policy for tree work to ensure no protected species would be disturbed whilst any work was in progress.

Following the survey, some sensitive pruning was carried out by our professional team of arborists to allow the stonemason to work on the castle’s chimney.
