At just 19 years old, McKenzie brings youthful enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to our Edinburgh-based tree surgery teams. More importantly, this marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in his career in arboriculture.
A Promising Start in Forestry
Mckenzie embarked on his journey in the forestry industry, achieving his forestry certification giving him a solid foundation with which to improve on. This qualification has given him the essential skills and knowledge to progress his skills towards a more versatile role as a climbing arborist. Mckenzie’s passion for trees and nature aligns perfectly with the requirements of an arborist, as well as our own mission to promote sustainable and responsible arboricultural practices.
Fitness Enthusiast with a Love for the Outdoors
McKenzie plays competitive rugby for his local team, and compliments this with significant time in the gym to maintain his strength and fitness. These qualities speak for his self-discipline which will certainly be required in the field of arboriculture.
