Thomson Trees entered into the new year with an increasing workload which has thankfully just been made a whole lot easier with the appointment of Ali McManus.

Ali has had a long career in various administrative and managerial roles across multiple industries. As our business expands, so too does the amount of stress put on the staff, not just in the field but also in the office. Having a dedicated member of staff to handle the administrative side of the business and all the headaches that go with it, will help us to remain firmly focused on what we do best, delivering the highest quality of tree work and customer services to all our clients in the Edinburgh area.

Coming into a completely new industry, Ali has had to learn a lot of things quickly, but has already made her mark on the company by streamlining the processes with which we manage all our risk assessment, method statement, quoting, invoicing, and all the other important paperwork which we are becoming more and more inundated with.

Ali is a keen walker and enjoys working and training her dogs. With much of her spare time spent in the outdoors, she is as in tune with nature as the rest of our team, which makes her the perfect match for Thomson Trees.
