We recently carried out a site clearance project in Buckstone for a domestic customer, clearing the corner of a house plot to make the area more usable and easier to manage.
The work involved felling around 20 semi-mature trees into the site, before processing and removing the branchwood. Usable timber was cut and stacked neatly on bearers in the corner of the plot for the client to keep as firewood once properly seasoned.
To keep the job moving efficiently, we used our skid steer to shift material quickly around the site. This made a big difference in reducing manual handling and allowed us to clear the area in a tidy and organised way.
We then returned the following day to carry out stump grinding, removing all remaining stumps and leaving the plot clear and ready for whatever the client had planned next.
This was a straightforward but satisfying domestic clearance job, with the added benefit of leaving the customer with a stock of firewood for future use.
